Dialogue with the past

Life rolls, it goes away

and along her leave

the endless memories

of childhood's innocence

behind the mirror...

Trikala of Meteora

an attraction to many

from every corner of the world...

Trikala of Lithaios River

with its familiar timbre

Trikala of the Great Gates' church

Trikala of the Kursum Mosque

and of the ancient Gomfoi...

two "worlds" separately

together and apart

a cycle that closes

a cycle that opens

a world of freedom

against nostalgia

a world of return to the future...

Διάλογος με το παρελθόν

Η ζωή κυλάει, φεύγει

και μαζί της φεύγουν

οι ατέρμονες αναμνήσεις

της παιδικής αθωότητας

πίσω από τον καθρέφτη...

Τρίκαλα των Μετεώρων

πόλος έλξης πολλών

από τα πέρατα της οικουμένης...

Τρίκαλα του Ληθαίου ποταμού

με το γνωστό ηχόχρωμά του...

Τρίκαλα της εκκλησιάς των Μεγάλων Πυλών

Τρίκαλα του Κουρσούμ τζαμί

και της αρχαίας Γόμφοι...

δυο «κόσμοι» χωριστά

μαζί και χώρια

ένας κύκλος που κλείνει

ένας κύκλος που ανοίγει

ένας κόσμος ελευθερίας

εναντίον νοσταλγίας

ένας κόσμος επιστροφής στο μέλλον...
